Ouzel - The Swimming Bird

Have you ever seen or known about the swimming bird.I never heard that i came to know through the quiz show telecasted in the television.

The Water Ouzel, also known as the American Dipper, which can be see in the regions across North America where there are clear, fast-flowing streams. The ouzel dives into cold, often turbulent rivers and streams, swimming, and walking along the bottom of the river. It uses the pressure of water on its wings and tail to help keep it down while it searches for insect larvae and other small animals on which to feed.

Both the wings and tail are short, the beak is fairly short and straight, and the general color of the bird is a slate gray. When on shore, it has a custom of “dipping” that easily distinguishes it from any other bird along the river. The Ouzel is most often found by itself; rarely in pairs, except during the breeding season, and very rarely in threes or fours.

The Ouzel's nest is one of the most extraordinary pieces of bird architecture. It is typically large, made of moss and ferns, and usually found under or beneath a waterfall, or upon a slick rock face where it is almost impossible for anything to reach it. The moss continues to grow as it is continually sprinkled with water, and provides a comfortable, cushy place for the bird to nest.

As North America's only aquatic songbird, the Ouzel posseses a strong sweet song, composed of a variety of trills and flute-like notes that sometimes abruptly end as the bird enters the river to feed. Upon returning to the surface, the Ouzel seemingly picks up right where it left off without so much as skipping a beat.

What a amazing bird is in it.I love to see them.

The Silent Speech

There are sources of books, and thousands of learned papers,on the Body Language - or the non-verbal communication as the specialists prefer to call it.I came to know about this peculiar matter by the Book "The Secret Language of Success" by Dr.David Lewis (psychotherapist).
The vast information can be explained faster but there need to be concentrated more on Body Language for the effectiveness of the speech. We should know how to use it !
As with any skill we cannot become proficient in body talk merely by reading a book about it.Practice is essential to make your Silent speech eloquent.Just like learning to speak an unfamiliar spoken language you'll probably be slightly hesitant and awkward at first. But after a short while this new way of using your body will become smooth and effortless.

Silent speech is important. It significantly affects your chances of succeeding or failing in any social encounter, whether personal or professional.Research suggest that only some 7% of the meaning in any conversation is contained in the Words spoken .I feel the majority of information is communicated by means of complicated mixture of appearance, posture, gesture, gaze, and expression.

In an increasingly fast-paced and competitive world silent speech skills can prove the key to social and professional attainment. We can control the messages being sent while accurately interpreting the signals being received. This ability to read another's body talk accurately is especially important in situations where you suspect attempts to conceal stress, mask anxiety, disguise deception...

So,when it comes to Success and or Failure what you say often matters far less than how its is said.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars

Stars, while we hearing this word we feel Cool right... I love Stars. When i am feel lonely i like to see Stars.Stars have always been important to every culture.

A star begins as a collapsing cloud of material that is composed primarily of hydrogen along with some helium and heavier trace elements. Once the stellar core is sufficiently dense, some of the hydrogen is steadily converted into helium through the process of nuclear fusion.

Actually who identifed the Stars? William Herschel was the first astronomer to attempt to determine the distribution of stars in the sky. During the 1780s, he performed a series of gauges in 600 directions, and counted the stars observed along each line of sight. From this he deduced that the number of stars steadily increased toward one side of the sky, in the direction of the Milky Way core.

So look up the Stars and be relax....
